Catholic Diocese of Nakuru TVET College games
It was all joy and celebration as Mwangaza College emerged as the overall champion in the first-ever Catholic Diocese of Nakuru Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College games, which were organized by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru Education Office.
The one day event was held at Comboni Polytechnic in Gilgil and attracted the participation of 4 colleges. It served as a platform for fostering camaraderie and social interaction among our students while simultaneously promoting teamwork, collaboration, and partnership amongst these institutions.
Mwangaza College demonstrated exceptional prowess by securing victory in both boys’ and girls’ football, as well as girls’ volleyball. In a closely contested competition, our boys’ volleyball team secured a well-deserved second place, behind our hosts, Comboni Polytechnic, who emerged winners.
This accomplishment underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering holistic development and excellence not only in academics but also in the realm of sports and extra-curricular activities and reaffirms our college’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals who can excel in every aspect of life.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru Education Office for organizing such a remarkable event, and we look forward to future opportunities for our students to engage in similar enriching experiences.
Special thanks also to all the people who worked tirelessly to make the event a success.
